PhotoJunkyard is a stock image, video, and vector marketplace where contributors upload content for free or premium use.

Contributors retain ownership of their uploaded content and license it to users under the terms outlined here.

2. User Accounts

2.1. Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.

2.2. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for breaches of these terms, including misuse of the platform or legal violations.

3. Contributor Content and Rights

3.1. Ownership

Contributors retain full ownership of the content they upload. By uploading content, contributors grant PhotoJunkyard a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and facilitate downloads or purchases through the platform.

3.2. Responsibility

Contributors are solely responsible for ensuring that their uploaded content complies with intellectual property laws, does not infringe on third-party rights, and adheres to the platform's guidelines.

• PhotoJunkyard is not liable for disputes arising from contributor content.
• Contributors agree to indemnify and hold PhotoJunkyard harmless from claims related to their uploaded assets.

3.3. Licensing to Users

When users download or purchase an asset, they receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the content for personal or commercial purposes as permitted by the chosen license. Reselling or redistributing content is strictly prohibited.

4. Payments and Refunds

4.1. Purchases and Subscriptions

• Users may purchase premium content or subscribe to download a set number of assets per day or month.
• All transactions are securely processed through our payment processors.

4.2. Contributor Earnings

• Contributors earn 50% revenue split of the sale price for each premium asset purchased. Payouts are processed according to our Payout Policy.
• Donations through the “Buy a Coffee” feature are also processed securely via our payment processors.

4.3. Refund Policy

5. Prohibited Activities

By using PhotoJunkyard, you agree not to:

• Upload or distribute content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
• Sell or license content that you do not have the rights to use.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. Platform Ownership

All non-contributor content, including the platform’s design, branding, and functionality, is owned by PhotoJunkyard and may not be copied or used without permission.

6.2. Contributor Content

Contributors retain ownership of their uploaded assets. Users may not claim ownership of downloaded or purchased content.

7. Third-Party Services

We integrate with trusted third-party services, including Stripe, Paypal & Mollie for payment processing and social media for login options. By using these features, you agree to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Liability and Disclaimers

• PhotoJunkyard acts as a facilitator for transactions between contributors and users.
• We are not responsible for the quality, legality, or accuracy of uploaded content.
• Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Termination and Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms or terminate your access to the platform at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to users in advance.

10. Governing Law
